Mission Statement
  Mr. Katsunuma has been practicing as a patent attorney in Japan for over 30 years and has been actively involved in international intellectual property organizations. Now, Mr. Katsunuma has established a new intellectual property-related company, Zero to Hero IP, in Singapore to expand his activities from Japan to the world.

He hopes to contribute to the development of intellectual property rights in Asia by leveraging his accumulated experience and network.

  By establishing a base in Singapore, we aim to bridge the gap between patent applications from Singapore to the world and from Japan to Asia.

Patent Applications from Singaporeto the World

 Mr. Katsunuma actively participates in international intellectual property organizations (AIPPI, APAA, FICPI, INTA), and possesses a global network. He will provide seamless services in intellectual property rights from Singapore to various countries worldwide through trustworthy patent attorneys.  Furthermore, having served as the representative of the Japan group of the AIPPI Trilateral Meeting between China, South Korea, and Japan from 2010 to 2023, Mr. Katsunuma has extensive connections in China and South Korea. He can offer seamless services for intellectual property rights in China from Singapore through reliable Chinese patent attorneys.  Naturally, we can provide direct and cost-effective services for intellectual property rights in Japan through our sister office in Japan.

Patent Applications from Japan to Asia

 Mr. Katsunuma is actively involved in the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and served as the President of APAA from 2018 to 2021.
  He has a personal network in various Asian countries. Additionally, with over 30 years of practice as a patent attorney in Japan, Mr. Katsunuma is well-versed in Japanese intellectual property law and corporate practices.
  Thus, he can strongly support Japanese companies in expanding intellectual property rights into Asia.

Translation

 We have been providing patent translation services between Japanese and English from 2017 to 2023.  Leveraging the knowledge of our patent attorneys (Japan) in drafting claims and descriptions, we offer translations that not only meet the description requirements of patent documentation but also do not limit the scope of rights.  Our patent attorneys (Japan) have outstanding linguistic abilities in Japanese, English, and Chinese, enabling us to provide top-quality translations.

 Our patent attorneys (Japan), with a track record of filing hundreds of patent applications worldwide over 30+ years, have in-depth knowledge of intellectual property systems in various countries, including Asia, China, the United States, and Europe.
